A -Clinical Trial of Tulobuterol in the Treatment of COPD

Abstract
|
|
|
To establish the safety and the efficacy of tulobuterol, 19 patients with COPD were treated as in patient status. The do g was given 1 mg two times per day for 7 days.
The results were as follows;
1. The subjective & objective improvement was seen in 47%, 57.9%; respectively. 2. The improvements in FVC, FEV, PEFR were 21%, 16%, 21% respectively. 3. The overall improvement was seen in 63.1% of patients.
4. Mild finger tremor & itching were seen in one patient, respectively.
So we concluded that tulobuterol is an effective and safe drug in treatment of COPD.
